These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the nanny placement services we provide. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Our Services
The Family Nanny is a boutique nanny placement agency providing personalised support to families seeking professional childcare.
Our services may include:

Long-term nanny placements

Temporary and emergency nanny care

Maternity and newborn support

House Manager and Nanny/House Manager placements

Candidate screening and matching

Placement support throughout the recruitment process.
Placement Process
Every family and placement is unique.
We take care to understand your family's needs before introducing carefully selected candidates who meet your requirements.
While every effort is made to find the most suitable match, we cannot guarantee the availability of candidates or that every introduction will result in employment.
Placement Fees
Placement fees are payable in accordance with the pricing published on our Fees page or as otherwise agreed in writing.
Fees are based on the agreed weekly hours at the time of placement.
Unless otherwise agreed, placement fees are payable upon acceptance of a nanny placement.
Replacement Period
If a placement ends within the applicable replacement period, we will work with your family to provide one replacement candidate in accordance with our replacement policy.
Replacement placements are provided subject to the original placement terms and are not available where employment ends due to changes in family circumstances, redundancy, relocation, unreasonable changes to working conditions or breaches of the employment agreement.
Temporary Care
Temporary and emergency care bookings are arranged based on candidate availability.
While we make every effort to provide suitable care, we cannot guarantee availability for every request, particularly during peak periods or short-notice bookings.
Family Responsibilities
Families are responsible for:

Providing accurate information about the role

Conducting interviews before offering employment

Complying with Australian employment laws

Paying the nanny directly unless otherwise agreed

Providing a safe working environment.
Nanny Applicants
All nanny applicants are required to provide accurate and truthful information during the application process.
Applicants may be asked to provide:

Current Resume

Blue Card
-
First Aid & CPR certification
-
Professional references
-
Right to work in Australia
-
Driver's licence (where applicable)
Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from our candidate database.
Limitation of Liability
The Family Nanny carefully screens candidates through interviews, reference checks and verification processes.
However, employment decisions remain the responsibility of the family, and we cannot guarantee the future performance or suitability of any individual after placement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Family Nanny is not liable for any loss arising from the employment relationship between a family and a nanny.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, branding, logos and graphics, remains the property of The Family Nanny unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
